This new facility serves a multi-site church congregation in Oak Ridge, NC. Currently under construction, this 30,000 SF facility contains a worship space seating 500, offices, classrooms, children’s space, and youth gathering space.

With the numerous horse-related facilities in the community, Summit asked that their new building blend with that vibe. The central lobby “spine” displays a stable form that connects all of the major spaces, along with a clerestory window running the entire length. Exterior entries are marked with trusses heavy timber roofs, and one case, a “silo”.
