As the first major project accomplished at this facility since the 1985 addition, this process transformed The Benton Convention Center inside and out. A two-story addition on the front filled the original urban garden space. This new area will serve as pre-function space. With its openness to the street, event attendees are be engaged with the street activity, and vice versa for sidewalk pedestrians. All interior spaces received a complete transformation, from function, finishes, audio/visual capabilities, to electrical and mechanical upgrades.

This project was continuously occupied during construction.
