Advance Fire Department
The Advance Fire Department commissioned this new facility to replace their aging and outgrown existing building. Their desire was to construct a facility that was reflective of the upscale residential community it serves. The tower is designed to serve as an identifying element both day and night. The upper windows of the tower are accessed via a stair.
The main level of the station contains four drive through equipment bays accommodating 8 pieces of equipment, lobby, offices, training room, kitchen, day room and large covered rear patio.
The second level contains 8 individual sleeping rooms, each with its own toilet and shower. A weight room is also included on the second floor. Access to the equipment bays from the second floor is via a brass fire pole
